Music and other art forms are considered worthy of educational grants by the western culture. In the past few years, with the democratic shift in the government, there has been a debate regarding the continuation of such grants. However, till date these grants continue to persist.
The organization National Endowments for Arts (NEA) is one of the major providers of such grants. Such music grants are provided to both music organizations and under graduate or graduate students in music.
